Lovers Near Gaia is a labor of love, as all of my products are handmade. I offer reasonable prices, quality, attention to detail, and quick delivery.
Custom Designs
The wide variety of items I have in stock I've made to sell at convention art shows and pagan/new age craft shows. However, much of my business will also be custom orders.
This is good for you because my designs can be made in any color and put on anything (almost!) For example, check out my dragon rampant design which I've stitched in black, red, gold, green, and rust and which I've made into shirts, wall hangings, banners, and pouches.
For garb, I leave the fancy gowns and historically accurate costumes to those more skilled. But I can offer you simple but elegant capes,tabards, vests, sashes, poet shirts, and skirts for an economical price.
Accessories add a personal touch to your costumes and are a valuable keepsake for your genre interests. They also make a personalized gift for your friends. Keep in mind that custom and special orders take time and the price will reflect this. Delivery time is based on the volume of back orders.
Special Orders
I can also accommodate special orders - I can make a cross stitch design out of almost any picture or photo you have. For example, check out my Man at Arms plaque, which I based on a stained glass window.
Kits of My Design
If you like one of my original designs and want to stitch it yourself, I can create a counted cross stitch kit for you, consisting of the pattern, fabric, floss, picture of the finished product, and a frame (if wanted). (I cannot reproduce commercially available kits due to copyright.)
Commercial Kits
If you see a commercially available cross stitch kit for a cool design, like a dragon or a cat or whatever, but don't have the time, patience, or skill to stitch it yourself, contact me and I will make it for you. Please remember, though, that depending on the kit's size, this will take a lot of time, and the price will reflect this. Here's an example of a commercial kit that I've made: Juggling Wizard.
